Depuis toujours, la famille a servi de modèle social et politique, et malgré cela un conflit permanent sépare parents et enfants. Ce conflit a depuis ses origines représenté un n&#339;ud-clé dans la littérature mondiale. L'auteur propose une nouvelle lecture de ces histoires familiales et des tragédies inspirées par les enfants dévoyés dans la littérature, qu&#8217;elle soit enfantine, romanesque ou dramatique. Il dresse ainsi une cinquantaine de tableaux allant de l&#8217;Antiquité jusqu&#8217;à nos jours, tous remarquablement dessinés, avec une érudition approfondie. Il montre avec beaucoup d&#8217;élégance comment la famille légitimise les lois par rapport au modèle social, tout en mettant en évidence que l&#8217;insubordination n&#8217;est pas toujours vouée à l&#8217;insuccès.</Text>
