La mise en &#339;uvre de cette matière d&#8217;une exceptionnelle richesse constructive sollicite les deux formes d&#8217;expression de la pensée que sont la tête et la main, dont les contributions visent à saisir les interférences. Les rapports entre l&#8217;écrit, l&#8217;oral et le bâti sont saisis à travers la mixité des intelligences des praticiens &#8212; maçons, architectes, entrepreneurs &#8212; et des théoriciens &#8212; prêtres, savants, aristocrates. Les variantes du bâti en terre crue sont déclinées dans quatre aires culturelles&#160;: la Chine ancienne, l&#8217;empire romain, le Bengladesh et la France moderne.&#60;/p&#62;</Text>
