<Text textformat="02" language="fre">La traduction des sciences humaines, particulièrement du français vers l&#8217;allemand (et réciproquement), est l&#8217;objet de cette étude portant sur la philosophie, l&#8217;histoire, la linguistique, les sciences sociales et politiques. Au contraire des sciences exactes qui s&#8217;appuient sur un langage codifié, les sciences humaines véhiculent une conception du monde, un univers mental qu&#8217;il est difficile de traduire d&#8217;une langue à l&#8217;autre. C&#8217;est pourquoi l&#8217;anglais rudimentaire ne peut suffire à opérer le transfert des savoirs dans ce domaine. Les contributions de l'ouvrage collectif tentent de cerner, en fonction des secteurs spécifiques des sciences de la culture, les difficultés propre de la traduction. Cependant, la plupart des questions soulevées par cette problématique convergent vers une interrogation plus fondamentale : existe-t-il un univers culturel universel ou bien cet univers est-il particulier à chaque culture et, par conséquent, chaque langue ?</Text>
